Meet Andrea Hunt

Registered Psychologist

Welcome!  Whatever has brought you to this moment, I am here to hold space for your healing, personal transformations, and change. Drawing on over 15 years of experience in healing and community spaces, I help guide clients into the deep well of their own insight, build on their strengths, and become the author of their own stories.

Warm. Joyful, Gentle. Wise.  These are words my clients have offered to describe my approach. I have specialized training in expressive arts, internal family systems, mindfulness, narrative, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches to counselling. I am passionate about stories, both mythic and individual, and bring a creative, mindful approach to my work with adults and adolescents who are experiencing life transitions, interpersonal challenges, trauma, low self-esteem, stress, anxiety, or burnout.

I provide in-person sessions in Calgary and virtual sessions for people residing in Alberta.

Why Naturopathy

My Philosophy

I believe in you. Your story. Your potential. Your ability to heal and grow. You matter. Your story matters.

Change is possible.  It can sometimes feel uncomfortable and disorienting.  I provide a safe space to process, try new ways of being, and get in touch with your authentic self.

You are the expert of your experiences. I bring questions, some specialized knowledge, and a desire to work with you.

Holistic Healing

You are not just a head; mind and body cannot be separated. I believe in a holistic approach to wellbeing that encompasses all aspects of health including social connection and spirituality.

Nature is healing. Connecting to the cycles of your life is part knowing yourself.

I bring a mindset of curiosity to my work.  Together we try things to find what works for you.

Words of Inspiration

“Anything or anyone
that does not bring you alive
is too small for you.”

- David Whyte

I provide individual counselling sessions, expressive arts sessions, groups , and retreats.
